Mobile Tyre & Wheel Repair in Riyadh

Flat tyre, slow leak or a kerbed alloy? A technician comes to the car with the tools and the tyre, repairs what can safely be repaired, and tells you straight when it cannot.

A flat on the Eastern Ring Road at midnight does not need a tow truck. We come to the car with a jack, a torque wrench, a compressor and repair materials, and in most cases the tyre is back on the road in twenty minutes. If the puncture is in the tread and inside the repairable zone, we fix it properly. If the spare needs fitting, we fit it and set the pressure. If the tyre is finished, we bring the right size out to you.

We also do the jobs a busy puncture shop rushes: checking the valve stem, which cracks in the heat and leaks slowly for weeks; resetting or replacing a TPMS sensor so the dashboard light actually goes out; and torquing the wheel nuts to the manufacturer figure instead of leaning on an impact gun. On low-profile and run-flat tyres we inspect the inner liner before deciding whether a repair is safe at all. Where it is not, we say so — a patched sidewall is a blowout waiting for 120 km/h.

What mobile tyre and wheel work covers

Puncture repair is not one method. A nail in the centre of the tread, straight in and under six millimetres, can take an external plug that gets you moving safely. The correct permanent repair is different: the tyre comes off the rim, the inside is inspected for run-flat damage, the hole is reamed, and a combination patch-plug is fitted from the inside so the liner is sealed as well as the tread. We carry the equipment for both, and we tell you which one your tyre is getting and why.

The rest of the visit is the wheel itself. We check the valve and its core, the seating of the bead on the rim, and whether the rim is bent or cracked from a kerb or a ramp lip — a slow leak with no puncture is very often a corroded bead seat rather than the tyre. We fit your spare, stow the damaged wheel properly, set every pressure to the door-placard figure, and torque the nuts in the correct sequence. Buckled or cracked rims need a wheel shop, and we will tell you plainly.

Signs a tyre or wheel needs looking at

  • The tyre pressure light comes on in the morning and goes out again after a few kilometres
  • One tyre needs air every week while the other three hold their pressure fine
  • A rhythmic thumping that speeds up with the car and can be felt through the seat
  • The steering pulls to one side on a straight stretch of King Fahd Road
  • A vibration through the wheel that starts around 90 to 100 km/h and gets worse
  • A visible bulge, blister or cut in the sidewall after hitting a pothole or a kerb
  • Fine cracks across the sidewall rubber even though the tread still looks deep
  • You heard the alloy scrape a basement ramp, and now that wheel leaks slowly

What we do at your location

  • Safe positioning, hazard lights and wheel chocks before the car is jacked
  • Tyre removed and inspected inside and out to find the real leak, not just the nail
  • Tread puncture repaired with a plug or an internal patch-plug where the damage is inside the repairable zone
  • Spare or space-saver fitted and the damaged wheel stowed properly
  • New tyre brought to you and fitted where the old one cannot be repaired safely
  • Valve stem and valve core checked or replaced — a common slow-leak culprit in the heat
  • TPMS sensor tested, relearned or replaced so the dashboard warning clears
  • All pressures set to the door-placard figure, spare wheel included
  • Wheel nuts torqued to the manufacturer figure in the correct sequence, and the rim checked for kerb damage and a corroded bead seat

What Riyadh roads do to tyres

Riyadh asphalt in summer runs far hotter than the air. On a 48°C afternoon the road surface can sit near 70°C, and a tyre carrying a few PSI less than it should flexes harder in the sidewall, builds heat it cannot shed, and eventually separates the belts. That is the sequence behind most sudden blowouts on the Northern and Eastern Ring Roads — not a nail, but weeks of quiet under-inflation finishing on a hot afternoon at speed. Heat also ages rubber, so a tyre with plenty of tread left can still be too old to trust.

The other Riyadh damage is to the wheel, not the tyre. Basement ramps, raised kerbs outside compounds and the sharp speed bumps on residential streets are exactly the height that catches a low-profile rim, and a scrape that looks purely cosmetic often distorts the bead seat so the tyre leaks slowly for a month. Add construction sand and grit on service roads, screws and glass around building sites, and long high-speed runs on the ring roads, and Riyadh tyres are punctured, kerbed and heat-cycled far harder than the odometer suggests.

Transparent pricing — agreed before we start

We quote by the job, not by guesswork. Tell us the car, the tyre size printed on the sidewall and what happened — nail, blowout, slow leak, kerb strike — and you get the price for the call-out and the repair before the technician sets off. If a new tyre is needed, we confirm the size, load index and speed rating and quote the tyre separately, so you can compare it against a shop before you agree to anything.

If we reach the car and the tyre cannot be safely repaired, you hear that immediately, not after the work is done. Sidewall damage, a hole outside the repairable zone, an old bad plug, or a run-flat that has been driven for kilometres while flat all get the honest answer and a fresh quote for a replacement. What we agree covers the whole job, and nothing is added once the wheel is back on and the pressures are set — cash, card or bank transfer, whichever suits you.

Tyre & Wheel Repair — by car brand

We carry the tools and data for the marques Riyadh actually drives.

Tyre & Wheel Repair — questions we get

Yes, that is the whole service. Villa driveways, compound parking, basement car parks, office towers and the side of the road are all normal for us. The van carries the jack, compressor, repair materials and torque tools, so no lift is needed. In a basement, give us the building name, the level and the bay number so the technician reaches you without circling.

Around 10 minutes to most Riyadh addresses, at any hour — nights, Fridays, Ramadan and Eid included. Peak traffic on King Fahd Road or the ring roads can add a few minutes. Send a WhatsApp location pin rather than a street description, and tell us which side of the road you are on so the technician approaches from the right direction.

No, and nobody should tell you otherwise. The sidewall flexes constantly and carries the load, so a plug or patch there will not hold and can fail at speed. The repairable zone is the central tread area only. If the damage is in the shoulder or sidewall, or the tyre has a bulge, the tyre must be replaced — we will fit your spare and quote a new one.

Sometimes, but only after inspecting the inside. Run-flats are designed to be driven a limited distance at reduced speed while deflated, and beyond that the reinforced sidewall breaks down internally even though the outside looks fine. We remove the tyre and check the liner. If it is scuffed, crumbled or discoloured, the tyre is scrapped rather than repaired.

Usually because the sensor needs a relearn, the battery inside it has died, or another tyre is also low. TPMS sensor batteries typically last several years and the heat here shortens that. We read the sensor IDs, check the pressure in all four tyres and the spare, and either relearn the system or replace the failed sensor on the spot.

The figure on the door placard, checked when the tyres are cold. Do not let air out because the pressure reads high after a motorway run — that rise is normal and expected. Under-inflation is what destroys tyres in this heat. Check monthly, before any long drive, and remember the spare, which is usually the most neglected tyre on the car.

Both. If the tyre is beyond repair, tell us the size, load and speed rating from the sidewall and we source and fit the correct replacement at your location. We fit and balance what the car needs rather than pushing one brand. If several tyres are worn, we tell you which ones are urgent and which can wait.

We can diagnose it and make the wheel hold air, but cosmetic refinishing and straightening are workshop jobs. On site we check whether the rim is bent, cracked or has a corroded bead seat, clean and re-seat the bead where that is the leak, and tell you honestly if the wheel needs specialist repair or replacement rather than sealing it and hoping.
